Do I need to buy AI agents to use Kestrel?
No. The $399/mo platform is a complete, fully-functional operating system for your roofing company — CRM, estimating, portal, production, the works. AI agents are an optional add-on for companies that want 24/7 automated operations.
How does the 1% Success Fee work?
Instead of paying $35 per measurement, you pay 1% of the value of deals you close. In exchange, you get unlimited drone measurements. The fee is calculated when a deal moves to Closed Won and invoiced monthly. Kestrel only earns when you earn.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. Everything is month-to-month. Cancel anytime. We also offer a 10% discount if you prepay annually ($4,309/year for the platform).
What hardware do the AI agents run on?
AI agents run on a dedicated Mac Mini ($1,500 setup) or Mac Studio ($3,500 setup) at your location. The hardware is configured and maintained by Kestrel and remains Kestrel property during the lease.
Can I add or remove agents later?
Yes. Agent leases are monthly. Add a new agent when you need it, remove one if you don't. Your platform subscription stays the same regardless.
Do I need my own drone?
For drone measurements, yes — you'll need a compatible drone (DJI Mini 3 or similar). If you don't have one, we can help you get set up during onboarding. You can also use Kestrel without drone measurements.
How many users can I have?
